Minutes: Kevin Toogood, Solicitor to the Trustees introduced the item, noting that the recommendation is consistent with the purposes of the Trust, which is to provide recreation activities for the residents of Haywards Heath.
The item was proposed by Councillor Jackson and seconded by Councillor Henwood.
The Chairman took Members to a vote on the recommendation contained in the report. This was agreed with 43 in favour.
RESOLVED
The Charity Trustees approved the release of £18,060 + VAT for a new storage facility at Beech Hurst Bowls Club. |

Beech Hurst Gardens Tennis Courts. PDF 67 KB Minutes: Kevin Toogood, Solicitor to the Trustees introduced the report, noting that the tennis court provides a revenue stream to the Trust. The recommendation is consistent with the purposes of the Trust and it is anticipated that the improvements will enable the income to be enhanced.
The item was proposed by Councillor Jackson, seconded by Councillor Henwood and a further Councillor added his support to the proposal. The Chairman took Members to a vote on the recommendation contained in the report. This was agreed with 42 in favour.
RESOLVED
The Charity Trustees agreed to make available up to £50,000 (excluding VAT) to finance the renovation of all three tennis courts at Beech Hurst Gardens. |
