The exempt annexe contained costings and commercially sensitive information which is exempt from publication under paragraph 3 of Part 1, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

The Cabinet returned to open session at 1.47pm.

The Leader noted that Cabinet had considered the contents of the exempt annexe and took Members to a vote on the recommendations which were proposed by Councillor Hobbs and seconded by Councillor Gibson. These were agreed unanimously. 

RESOLVED

Cabinet agreed:

(i)      To delegate authority to the Director of People and Commercial Services to procure a contract for the building works at Annandale House.

(ii)      Subject to tendered prices being within the available budget, to delegate authority to the Director of People and Commercial Services to award a contract to the preferred bidder following the evaluation of tenders.
