To brief the Cabinet Member on the lease terms and to seek authority to grant a lease to the 8th Burgess Hill Scout Group, to be granted for the property Land at Royal George Recreation Ground, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9SB.

The Deputy Leader:

1.    authorised the grant of a lease to the 8th Burgess Hill Scout Group, to continue their occupation of the building for a term of 28 years at the rent of £450.00 per annum;

2.    authorised the Solicitor to the Council to conclude the transaction above on the terms outlined below, and on any such other terms and conditions as the Solicitor to the Council may recommend to protect the Council’s position.
