Purpose:

To brief the Cabinet Member on the lease terms that have been agreed for a new revisionary lease to Superdrug Stores Plc, a health and beauty retailer, to be granted for the ground and first floor retail Unit 1-2, The Orchards in Haywards Heath.

(a)   Authorised the grant of a new reversionary lease to Superdrug Stores Plc (trading as Superdrug), a health and beauty retailer, for the continued occupation to an existing tenant at the retail centre in Unit 1-2 for a term of 5 years.

 

(b)   Authorised the Solicitor to the Council to conclude the transaction above on the terms outlined below, and on any such other terms and conditions as the Solicitor to the Council may recommend to protect the Council’s position.
