The purpose of the report is to outline the changes to the Council’s procurement rules to take account of the legislative and internal departmental changes that have taken place since the Council’s Procurement Code (the Code) was last updated in September 2015.

06/03/2019 - Adjustment of Local Land Charges Official Search Fee ref: 241    Recommendations Approved

The report sets out the proposed maintenance of the existing search fee whilst taking into account slight adjustments to charges made for individual questions that make up the Local Land Charges Official Search fee for 2019/20, in line with the principles of cost recovery as outlined in Statutory Instrument 2008 No. 3248, The Local Authorities (England (Charges for Property Searches) Regulations 2008. The regulations allow Local Authorities to cover the cost of providing the Local Land Charges Service.

21/02/2019 - Proposed Fees and Charges in Environmental Health 2019/20 ref: 240    Recommendations Approved

The purpose of the report is to propose the schedule of fees and charges for the Environmental Health services in 2019/20. Mid Sussex District Council’s Environmental Health Section aims to provide effective and responsive services to protect the environment and our communities and would not be possible if the fees did not cover the costs of service provision.

This report aims to provide the Cabinet Member for Service Delivery with information relating to the annual review of charges for the Council’s outdoor leisure facilities. This is to enable the Cabinet Member to make a decision relating to the setting of charges for the period 1st April 2019 – 31st March 2020. The purpose of this report is to seek Cabinet Member approval for the setting of Outdoor Leisure Facility Charges for the period 1st April 2019 – 31st March 2020.

27/02/2019 - Proposed Core Charges for Indoor Leisure Operations 2019/20 ref: 238    Recommendations Approved

Following the transfer of the management of the Council leisure operations to Places Leisure in July 2014, the Operator of the leisure centres and Clair Hall, is required to agree any proposed changes to the core charges with the Council. The core charges are those defined in the Services Specification. The purpose of this report is to seek Cabinet Member approval for the setting of Leisure Operations Core Charges for the year 2019/20.
