Observing a Council or Committee Meeting:

You can view all Council and Committee meetings live via the Mid Sussex District Council’s YouTube channel.

Should you wish to attend to observe in-person, there are limited spaces available in the public gallery. To attend any Council or Committee Meeting, you must reserve your place by 4pm on the working day prior to the meeting by completing this Registration Form.

Please note that at certain Council and Committee meetings, public speaking is permitted and specific registration rules apply in each case.

Information about Council

Public Speaking at Full Council Meetings: Members of the public may ask questions of Members of the Council, limited to no more than 100 words. Any person wishing to ask a question shall notify the Senior Member Services Officer to: committees@midsussex.gov.uk not later than 1.00 p.m. two days preceding the day of the meeting at which the question is to be asked, (i.e. by 1pm on the Monday for a Council meeting on Wednesday) and shall provide a written copy of the question.

 

Observing a Council Meeting: All meetings continue to be livestreamed on the Council’s YouTube page. Should you wish to attend to observe in-person, places are limited.
