New regulations came into effect on 4 April 2020 to allow Councils to hold meetings remotely via electronic means. As such, Council and Committee meetings will occur with appropriate Councillors participating via a remote video link. Public access to the meetings is via a live stream video through the Council’s official YouTube channel

To receive Declaration of Interests from Members in respect of any matter on the agenda

To consider whether to exclude the Press and Public from the meeting during consideration of the following items in accordance with Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act

RESOLVED

 

That the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 7 of Part I of Schedule 12(A) to the Local Government Act 1972.

To confirm the minutes of the previous meeting of the Committee held on 3 September 2019.

The Minutes of the meeting of the Sub-Committee held on 3 September 2019 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

Determination of Application for Issue of a Hackney Carriage Drivers Licence.

The Sub-Committee considered whether applicant Mr TI is a fit and proper person to hold a Hackney Carriage Drivers Licence.  

 

RESOLVED

 

That Mr TI is a fit and proper person to hold a Hackney Carriage Drivers Licence and the application was allowed to proceed.
