Renewal of Policy on Licensing of Sex Establishments. Additional documents: Minutes: Jon Bryant, Senior Licensing Officer introduced the report, noting that it is good practice to review the policy every 5 years. There have been no legislative changes since the last review, and no applications made to open an establishment. If the recommendation is agreed, the policy will be reviewed by the Scrutiny Committee and open to a public consultation, prior to being considered by Council for approval.
The Chairman took Members to a vote on the recommendation as set out in the report which was proposed by Councillor Mockford and seconded by Councillor Kennedy. This was approved unanimously.
RESOLVED
The Committee endorsed the Policy on Licensing of Sex Establishments at Appendix 1 for consideration by the Scrutiny Committee for People and Communities.
